PPT课件、人物图片、人物爱好图片、单词卡
教学过程:
Step 1 Greeting and warm up
1.Enjoy a song: Do you have any hobbies?
2.Greetings.
3. Look and say.学生看图片,做动作,大声说出单词。
Before the lesson, let’s play a game. Look at the pictures, do the actions, then say the words loudly.
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. They’re all about the activities. How about these activities: dance, read, play the piano? Can you read them?
Tips: Now, listen to me. When you want to read the new words, you can use two ways. The first one is, you can use the dictionary, Eg… The second one is, you can read them with the old words. Now, let’s try to read the new words with the old words, OK?
Teach: dance, read, play the piano.
2. We know so many activities. What can you do?
Ss:I can…
T: Do you like…? (交流丰富)
3. T: What do I like doing? Guess.
揭示答案:I like drawing. I like reading. I also like watching TV.
Teach: also.
T: They’re my hobbies. Teach: Hobby/ Hobbies.
4. When we talk about our hobbies, we can say: I like… But, the word behind ‘like’ should plus ‘ing’.
Here are the words about hobbies, can you read them? Let’s try!

Step 3 While-reading.
1.Here’s the story time. Let’s know the aims of the story reading.
Teach: story.
What is a story? Look, The Goldilocks and the three bears is a story. (Read:story)
The three little pigs is a story, too. They’re stories. (Read: stories).
2. First, let’s watch some nice pictures of the story ‘Hobbies’ and try to get more information from the pictures. Please answer the questions: Who is the narrator? Whose hobbies is he talking about?
Check the answers.(贴图)
3. Yes, Mike is talking about his and his friends’ hobbies.What do they like doing?
Now let’s listening to the tape, read and underline their hobbies on your book.
4. Now, let’s read the story in details. First, let’s talk about the boys on P36.
What are Mike’s hobbies? What are Liu Tao’s hobbies? (贴图)
Now, let’s know more about Mike’s friend Liu Tao:
1)Can Liu Tao play football well? Why? Teach: be good at.
He is good at football. What else can we say?
Now read the passage about Mike, Can you ask some questions about Mike?
2) Can Mike play football well? Why? He is good at basketball. But he’s not good at football.
By the way, what does Tim like doing? Why?
Teach: with… What does it mean? It means “together”.
I want to know: Is Tim good at drawing? Why? Because, Mike usually draws in the park with Tim. So maybe they are good at it.
5. What about the girls’ hobbies? Now, please look at the passages in Page37.

2. Retell.
